Project story

This was a very personal project, since the “client” was… me. Music and festivals have always been a big part of my life, so when it came to designing the website for my own wedding, I decided to flip the script: was it a wedding disguised as a music festival, or a music festival that just happened to host a wedding? Honestly, I still don’t know.

The goal was to capture the spirit of a real festival. The website followed the same playbook you’d expect from major events—sharing lineups, schedules, venue info, artist highlights, and a clear FAQ section to keep guests on track.

Design-wise, it had to strike the right balance: playful, colorful, and intuitive, while staying fully accessible and easy to navigate for guests of all ages (and varying degrees of tech confidence). To make it inclusive, I built it in three languages—English, Spanish, and Russian.

And because a festival is much more than a website, I extended the experience to every detail: wristbands, signage, invitations, and even a printed black-and-white newspaper edition for guests.
